    Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speakers

That's good to know, I felt really bad thinking I'd hurt your feelings...:-\ I'm just an uber audio geek, I've been into it since I was a little kid and two of my personal heros are Paul Klipsch and Matthew Polk. I've been designing and building speakers for home and car audio since I was a teen.:)

    Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speakers

I wasn't trying to be callous, I was trying to point out how they work so that you'd have an idea of what you were seeing. I'm genuinely sorry if I hurt your feelings Jen, it wasn't what I had in mind at all but I must say your idea about tearing them apart is an attractive idea since it...

    Logitech Z-4 2.1 Speakers

Looking at the sats I can tell that each has one active driver (located in the center) and 2 passive radiators also known as a butterworth 4th order tuned port which use the air inside the speaker enclosure to couple the radiators to the driver via fluid dynamics. The middle driver is an...

Would you upgrade your PC for an operating system?

No, I'm happy with XP and I'm not going to shell out for a whole new pc (the case will likely need to be BTX by then) just to run a new OS, that's just insane. Heck, I'd like to try a 7800 but I'm not dumping my AGP rig just to do it, it's got plenty of life left in it and until it's too slow...

    Hilarious eBay ad

I saw the following on an eBay ad linked to in another forum and thought I'd share it with you guys, it's a real hoot. The following is a copy/paste from eBay and the seller has given his blessing to having it posted thusly so it's all good. You are bidding on a mistake. We all make...

    What's your headset?

Personally I don't use a headset, I do have a set of Koss UR.40 headphones I wear for quiet gaming or music listening/movie watching but I can slap a boom mic I custom bent to work as a headset type mic on them with a wad of sticky tack for gaming.

    PC Cases

Currently I'm using a Lian Li PC6070 case that I've lightly massaged to accept dual 80mm radiators on the rear of the mobo tray and put a small window in along with a 120mm blowhole. Although I'm really considering going back to my old case and putting a top window where the radiator...

    Interview: Andy Keane of AGEIA

I read one review of the 7800 and the reviewer was running HL2 at the max resolution the card would do with 4x a.a. and 16x a.f. and it was still fast at max details. He also ran other games that way and it never went below 30fps or so he said.

    Interview: Andy Keane of AGEIA

IMHO SLI with a 7800 is pure bragging rights and nothing more. The 7800 solo performs insanely good enough to run all the current games in full detail with all the eye candy turned on at 1600x1200 and still has enough power to run AA...who really needs more than that? With games designed to...

Go into tools/folder options and make sure the "display contents of system folders" checkbox is checked. If it isn't the system 32 folder won't be seen...
