The first and only notebook I have ever purchased was an Acer. It wasn't one month after my warranty expired that it decided to die. I still hate Acer for that. For what it's worth though, it was a great notebook up until the time of it's death.

Wireless would have been handy, but in all honesty, a wired remote isn't that big of a deal. I have mine sitting on my monitor stand with it's cable neatly routed back with the other cables from the monitor.

Todays 8800s can chew through a 30" and that's over 4 million pixels to render at a time so I don't think that it's under performing GPUs that are holding this progress back.. I understand what you are wanting to do and that would be great, it honestly would. Matrox just doesn't support that...

Haha. It appears to be a very solid entry level card. While it wont push the larger monitors that many gamers now have, a overwhelming majority of gamers have 19" monitors or less. This card would serve almost anyone, hard core enthusiasts aside, well.

There isn't one centralized switch for all of the fans like in the P182. The tri speed switches in the Nine Hundred simply hang off of the fan like the power connectors do. Sorry for your confusion, I hope this helps.
