    Your thoughts on Quad Core?

Yes, but you, like most of us here, simply want the latest and greatest because it's just that... the latest and greatest. Swieb and I got into that micro arms race a couple of years ago, trying to beat each other's Aquamark3 scores. He ultimately won when he got the FX-57, but it was fun...

DigitalLife 2007: Gateway Unveils The "One"

Pretty solid looking PC. To bad it ships with Vista though, XP Media Center Edition might have been a wiser choice IMHO. Or at least the option to pick your OS.

Just shot off an email to D-Link. I will update when I get a reply. Thank you.

    Halo 3 anyone?

It's almost time. When you all get your greasy little hands on your own copy, I want to hear all about it. You can be sure that I will check in so won't you join me too? This is when your not playing of course...

    Plextor DVD Burner Help

Have you tried using another drive? It could be the motherboard too. If another drive works when your current drive does not, it quite possibly got hosed in the outage. I know it sucks, but it can happen. Get a decent surge protector. Good luck.

IDF 07 SF: Skulltrail, QX9650, 45nm Performance Preview

It really wasn't a fair comparison, and Intel openly admitted that. So yeah, you are right, it wasn't a fair playing field but it's coolness was undeniable. Look for a more level comparison when we start testing Yorkfield in house.

So... I was just watching the news...

Undeniably selfish. What a funked up situation.

IDF 07 SF: Skulltrail - High-End Has New Meaning

So your saying that you would buy a Ferrari simply because it holds it's value well? :p

IDF 07 SF: Skulltrail - High-End Has New Meaning

The same argument can be made for a Ferrari or a piece of jewelry. It's all about priorities to be honest. Intel doesn't care either about people complaining about the price because they know damn well that it's not a system for everyone. From what we have seen this week, there are stellar...

IDF 07 SF: Skulltrail - High-End Has New Meaning

This isn't going to be a platform that sells well and Intel knows this. It will however, be THE definition of ultra high performance.

Sega Dreamcast Iomega Zip Drive On eBay

We cant forget the excellence that was Soul Caliber either! We also can't forget that Sega could have screwed up a wet dream from the end of the Genesis until they closed up shop after the Dreamcast. Thanks for nothing Sega. Sonic is crying somewhere as we speak. Not because Sega is dead...

Bottle Capable Of Cleaning Dirtiest Of Water

Not entirely new but 100% kick ass none the less. I would purchase this in a heartbeat if it was priced right, less than $150, for the many camping, rafting and canoing trips my family and I take each summer. Good for this guy.

    Barcode Printer research?

I don't know their specific model numbers but we use IBM bar code printers here at work. I also just setup a Zebra as well but it's well newer than what you are asking about. Like Tater said, Google might be your best course of action at this point, sorry.

Microsoft Allows Students To Steal Office... For $59.95

This honestly isn't anything new. We have been able to purchase Microsoft software from the IU bookstore since the Win98 days. It's a deal that IU worked out with Microsoft. Just last week I picked up Vista Ultimate for 20 dollars... only to have it sit, unused for ever and ever and ever...

Sega Dreamcast Iomega Zip Drive On eBay

Ahh, the Dreamcast, how I loved you so. There still isn't anything like sitting down with that awkward controller and rounding out a few hours at Resident Evil. Fun times.

Winamp 5.5 Beta Released With Numerous Updates

Oh sweet Winamp, how I loved thee. I can remember the days of this being my only media player. Then came Windows media player, I think it was version 8 or 9 and it was lights out for Winamp, mainly because I hate everything AOL. Now I use Foobar and absolutely love it... thanks Rob.
