I don't have that issue, but I can't even use the newest one (10.12). It cuts my framerate in half. I could only get 25-37 in Borderlands with 10.12 and with 10.11 it stays at a constant 62 Better now? :p

I'm not 100% sure myself if your C2Q would be a bottleneck for those cards, but it is possible since it's an older processor.

I'd go with XFX. They have a double lifetime warranty and they make great cards. I myself have a gigabyte radeon 6870, just because the XFX were out of stock when I went to order.

ohhh jeez yeah you would need the 850W to do that. just look at THIS. Idle system power consumption with 6950: 174W. System consumption with GPU in FULL stress: 312W!!! that's insane! *EDIT* wait, that's actually not that bad...I was tired when I typed this out..worked till 2am. lol.

They already do that. CoD: Black Ops I bought at GameStop but when I went to install it opened steam, and said steam is required to run this game. Same thing when I bought Portal.

OH YEAH I almost forgot about the TC games too. SPLINTER CELL! One of the BEST co-op game series ever. I LOVED going through Double Agent with my friend Austin. It was so cool.

YES we need more co-op games. Borderlands set the standard. People won't be happy unless the developers give us something either equal or better than Borderlands.
