ASUS Intros High-End Rampage III Black Edition Motherboard

I'm kind of over astronomically priced motherboards. They no longer even bring up feelings of desire. Am I getting old?

File Transfers Over 1Gbit/s Ethernet: SSD vs. HDD

Thank you. It seems somewhat fitting.

File Transfers Over 1Gbit/s Ethernet: SSD vs. HDD

I like this idea and I like the fact that this is Rob's baby. Not a lot of sites test this (none immediately come to mind but I'm sure there are tests ran) so it's something that would set Techgage apart from the rest of the pack.

    GlideTV Internet TV Navigator Review

I love that idea. Obviously the upsides are listed by you and could be expanded even further but we all know what a netbook is capable of. The negative would be that it's essentially $300 remote with additional capabilities. Good luck finding these. Unfortunately they are having supply...

What MP3 player do you use?

I write this post listening to some NOFX on my old Zune 8GB. I have owned an iPod classic, an iPod Touch and always have my iPhone on me and have for the past 3 years. I have also had a Zune HD. After selling the Zune HD to a good friend about 9 months ago because it lacked the bluetooth...

The Not So Secret History of Super Mario Bros. 2

Hands down one of my favorite games growing up. The music is some of the best 8-bit scores I have ever heard. As I type this, I can hear the opening screen's song playing in my head. Speaking of great games, did anyone ever play Captain Skyhawk? Might be my favorite NES game of all time.

    Sony SMP-N100 Media Player Review

QNAP is rather proud of their products, aren't they? Everything they make is solid but expensive. You can find the Sony SMP-N100 for around $100 online. This was down from about $140 when I purchased it last winter. It's a solid device but there are better players out there.

Obsidian... though I can speak for the Fractal case. They make good gear.

Mozilla Breaks Down Firefox 4 Download Stats

I have been very pleased with FF4 so far. A few of my plug-ins no longer work but that's to be expected. It's a nice looking, quick browser that still uses more memory than I would like but I suppose that's why we all have 4GB+ of memory on our machines.

Tt eSPORTS BLACK Gaming Mouse Review

Good read Jamie. The mouse looks uncomfortable to me. Is this a design that you would consider using on a daily basis if the flaws you mention in the review were remedied?

Diskeeper 11 Released; Introduces 'Instant Defrag' and 'Efficient Mode'

From your news posting... I wonder how much overhead this causes? I would assume that's its unnoticeable but still, if it's checking out every file at a bit level, that has to impact performance. I'm not an SSD user yet so I'm not entirely up to speed on how TRIM works from a detailed...
