Steam Soon to Allow Users to Specify Hard Drives for Game Installs

Odd. I haven't run into that with Skyrim but I don't have TF2 on here so I can't comment. Has anyone complained to Steam about it not doing as it is supposed to?

Steam Soon to Allow Users to Specify Hard Drives for Game Installs

Auto update is changeable. Right click the game in question, left click properties and in the properties box go to the update tab and choose "Do not automatically update this game". Yeah, they're turned on by default but you're not stuck with it.

Firefox OS to be Focused on Open-Source, Targeted at $50 Phones

No, I'm talking about over the OS. There will be something that will infringe upon some obscure patent somewhere. Then we'll have more rounds of litigation and less innovation. I just wonder if Mozilla has the pockets for getting drawn into a patent suit.

Rosewill Brings Illumination with its RK-9100 Mechanical Keyboards

When running in a straight line it's simply a matter of using my right hand to turn the volume up or down. That's why I asked.

Rosewill Brings Illumination with its RK-9100 Mechanical Keyboards

Can you do it while using other keys or do they need to be suspended? I often turn the volume up or down while I'm running around on maps so I can hear stuff or knock down background noise.

GoDaddy Suffering Major Outages, Rendering Many Sites Inaccessible

Sucks for the poor people using GoDaddy as a hosting company. Hopefully it results in an exodus away from them and GoDaddy ends up as relevant as Yahoo! is.

Dutch police ask 8K men for a DNA sample

If I had a rock solid alibi for the time of the murder I'd tell them to take a hike, I'd have proof I wasn't involved in any way. Now, if I was innocent but had no alibi I'd probably just submit my DNA on the sole provision that the profile be destroyed after the case was resolved. And I'd want...

EA's Frank Gibeau Has No Interest in Releasing Single Player-Only Games

I'm just pointing out that while they say no single player only games it doesn't mean the death of single player. It probably means that they'll all have some element of multiplayer whether it's just TDM, DM, CTF and CO-OP on top of campaign mode or something more like L4D with it's CO-OP only...

EA's Frank Gibeau Has No Interest in Releasing Single Player-Only Games

Don't most of the games you mention have multiplayer mode? If they do they're not single player only games. Even if they're not multiplayer in campaign mode, they still have a multiplayer component to them.

    Patently Backwards

Well suited jury? Yeah if you want to build a jury rigged to fail. Most were older, only 2 owned smartphones and only one was familiar with the patent process. That jury was an example of what's wrong with this country. We have people that largely have no clue about technology making...
