I was just looking through the latest MicroCenter ad and there's a 4TB Deskstar in it for $229. Since Hitachi is now a WD subsidiary it looks like Seagate is only undercutting them by $19.
Yeah, the anti-piracy guy kills me. He's not going after "legitimate" cloud storage companies, the thing is that any of them can be misused. He's leaving Dropbox alone when someone can as easily link to files there as they can on Mega. I just can't figure out how the guy gained so much traction...
I've been doing USB drives for the last 6 or 7 years (once they got affordable) and I've not had one problem in all that time. Not even with USB HDD enclosures.
