North Sea Jazz 2010 in Rotterdam, Holland

Speaking of orchestral music, my little brother is playing in this orchestra. He's only 17 years old. He's playing horn. Yes we do have the music feel in our family. I have always been more into sports, but I have the ears for it. Sadly the sound quality isn't great, the location for it wasn't...

Well.. about time for a genre change ;) I have found a nice song from my favourite acoustic guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. He's playing John Lennon's song Imagine live in this video. I quite like it :) Too bad the quality isn't great.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4kaID0IpCE

Well clearly the next song is in a different league then. Ever heard of this song? It is quite relaxing, has nature sounds in it too. Sounds clear and pure :) Robert Rich - Somnium: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL2CYBRgUWQ EDIT: I've listened to it a couple of times and I adore it! It is...

Rightly so.. I agree when listening it a couple of times you notice that. It might be a cool and interesting sound, but it's somehow not convincing enough. Maybe the focus is a little too much on the ambient part, with the result that the songs lack build-up and a good rhythm.

I agree, that song is missing some build-up. But still it's an interesting sound ;)

I've come across this track, it includes some nature sounds and it's what I call psychedelic ambient as well. I was curious if you like it :) Monolake - Lantau: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnvEDDHu13c

    Packard Bell iXtreme i7803

Thanks awfully! I will check it out! Well my little bro is gaming a little now and then. If we aren't satisfied with the GPU performance I can always consider putting a new graphics card in. Yes it's a nice system. It's really powerful and doesn't consume much power either. The multiplier is...

Well I really like that Orbital track!! It's spectacular! Orbital in general is a little too sweet and tender to my liking. But I find this track an exception to that. I quite like it! It's nice exploring new music, and new music genres. Ambient isn't like my favourite genre, but I'm open minded...

    Packard Bell iXtreme i7803

This weekend I've been looking for a nice PC for my parents and little bro. I came across this model: Packard Bell iXtreme i7803. It's plenty fast for them I have to say. It has the i7-2600 which hits 3,8Ghz in Turbo mode. If I was gonna buy a PC for myself I would build myself one, but this is...

How about this one :) It's very clear and bright this song. I like it, the tune sounds familiar as well. Brian Eno An Ending (Ascent): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOgQyIMX_XU I've actually found some background of it :) The song is actually from 1983, it doesn't sound 80s like though. It's...

I like it, I will check out some more of these songs! I really like the choir in this song! It reminds me of some of the Lord of the Rings songs. Well now I've come to think of it.. maybe it's even used as an inspiration for Lord of the Rings. ;)

Normally I'm not that into ambient trance, but I've just found this song and it's not bad I have to say. It's not really a song with a beat / tune or anything, but it does set a certain theme and atmosphere. It is relaxing to listen and let your mind drift away for a while after a busy day for...

They invented as nice symbol for infinity ;) I don't believe there are other Earths (Earth seems so special and unique), but there might be something that is Earth-like.. Who knows. It's all very interesting!

I don't agree. Well I think people have a different understanding of religion and focus to elements which they find important. I think that has to do with focussing on our talents and how we can use them as well. Although people explain things in different ways and insights, the basics of...

Well I guess we all have a different understanding of faith and that is fine :) Corinthians chapter 13 is of my favourite chapters in the Bible. It's passages like these that move me: 13:4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 13:5 doesn’t behave...
