Well before they've used a lappy. That thing was only eating 30 watts max, so yes it does eat a little more power LOL! I thought it was gonna eat about 300 watts on maximum load gaming. It's kinda what I expected. Not too bad I say, but not very power efficient either ;)

Well I figured I play a little more with my Sapphire 3850 AGP card. I had this Zalman VF700-Alcu cooler rusting there :P and I figured I remove the stock cooler and put that on. I'm amazed how crappy the stock cooler was really.. After replacing the cooling my load temps dropped around 20...

As an inspiration I got curious and thought "How about reaching overclocking speeds undervolting the VGPU?." Well it turns out this card does 820/1020 with 1.180v vgpu instead of the stock 1.214v vgpu. The result is lower temps and more stable overclock :D

I hear ya! I might say "POOF" to some point haha! That's a astonishing result there.. This got me thinking.. I wondered if it was the lack of Catalyst support running all these cards together or would that I7 make up for it compared to that AMD setup.. That second guess might be it I reckon.

My.. goodness.. Close to 1200 watts that is quite the lot! That is a beast! I am surprised to see that 1000watt PSU cope so well with that kind of punishment really..

Ofcourse I had to do some tuning on this ATI 6850. Raised the vgpu a little and ran FM03 again. After that I've tested Crysis 2. I'm able to play that at 1920x1080 with extreme settings and DX11 activated. The gaming experience the 24 inch display is quite something. I'm not used to that kindof...

I've been benching some more and got the following high score with my videocard. This was at 820/1200 clocks.. I've decited to drop a few Mhz on the core and max out the ram totally. On the cpu / ram side I was running about the same settings. Here's the score and here's 34K FM03 :D...

What application do you use then to change AA, AF and monitor settings etc..That's what I use it for.
