I think notebook security is pretty important. I remember one of my teachers saying she had her notebook stolen and there were all kinds of tests and exam answers on it.. And yes, just like HD-DVD and BluRay. The encryption will eventually be cracked :)

There is a big difference when booting and loading games/files/applications. I would recommend a higher RPM HD but you won't see an FPS increase in your games or a faster benchmark score or anything like that unless you don't have much RAM and are using alot of page files.

The P5W DH Deluxe is a great board, however you'll get problems if you go over 425 FSB without a vdroop mod. If you want 4GHz or higher.. go with the P5B or a P965 or 680i chipset board :)
