Following in the footsteps of Orange, which released the 'San Diego' Intel-powered phone this past summer in the UK, Motorola has just announced its 'RAZR i', also in the UK. The phone is the first to feature Intel's latest Atom microarchitecture, Medfield, which means the phone is...

Geeknet Offloads Slashdot, SourceForce and Freecode to Dice Holdings

Barely a year after site co-founder Rob Malda left Slashdot, it's been sold, along with SourceForce and Freecode. Dice Holdings, owners of the Dice.com career site, paid $20 million for the deal. Strikingly, $20m is roughly said to be the revenue that all three properties combined earn annually...

The *Official* I'm Pumped For Borderlands 2 Thread AKA Here's My Wallet, Randy!

Posted about the launch here: http://techgage.com/news/borderlands_2_is_out_-_but_you_already_knew_that/ Matt: The fact you find the difficult leads me to believe that the difficulty was amped from the original. There, playing solo was the easiest way to clear through the game (in some ways)...

Sabayon Linux 10 Released, Bleeds Improvements and New Features

It seems like the Sabayon crew has adopted the rapid-release cycle of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, because yet another new version is upon us: 10. Yes, 10. Just last summer, I took a quick look at 6, and given the modest size of the dev team, this output is nothing short of incredible...

Photoshop's Windows XP Support Ends with Next Version

In what I'm sure comes as a surprise to very few, Adobe has finally announced the end of support for Windows XP - at least on the Photoshop front. Each product at Adobe has its own team, so some products in "CS7" may support the aging OS, but chances are this will be the launch where we'll see...

The *Official* I'm Pumped For Borderlands 2 Thread AKA Here's My Wallet, Randy!

What exactly is Slaughter Dome? Is it just like the Moxxi DLC from the first game? If so, I don't think I'm in much of a rush to play it.

    New Hardware!

Haha @ Healthgage. Complements the other "gage" ideas I've had run through my head over the years.

NVIDIA's Mobile Lead Michael Rayfield Departs from the Company

In our fast-paced technological world, it's not uncommon to see people jump from one company to the next to take on new challenges. But when an executive leaves their role representing one of the company's more important products, it sure does get the speculation train moving. The latest case is...

    New Hardware!

The ironic thing is I -have- lost weight, but it's not due to working out. It's just been due to not eating so much junk - amazing how much of a difference that can make. Lost like 8 lbs in a single week not long ago because of it (easier given I am a fat ass). Glad you have a routine going...

The *Official* I'm Pumped For Borderlands 2 Thread AKA Here's My Wallet, Randy!

I forgot to link the official launch trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERe3wZdIAtc Consider it a good thing there isn't a launch party. Imagine how many people you'd want to sucker-punch who are holding the console version...

    Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Delayed

Doesn't surprise me, but doesn't bother me, either. Games generally don't get delayed for no reason, so hopefully it'll mean we'll get a bug-free game at launch (yeah...).

The *Official* I'm Pumped For Borderlands 2 Thread AKA Here's My Wallet, Randy!

I am surprised this game warrants a midnight launch, to be honest. I've seen that for entire consoles but it's rare for a game. Goes to show the demand for it. I am not even sure I'll touch the game much at all until Jamie is able to get his copy.

    New Hardware!

Good to hear it man! I'd like to get down to the same target weight, but I don't have the height advantage so that still won't be ideal :-/

With each new F1 title Codemasters releases, we're promised improved mechanics, graphics and audio, new must-have features and, generally speaking, the best F1 experience possible in a video game. The latest release also promises to be more "accessible" to new racers, so let's strap in and see...

The *Official* I'm Pumped For Borderlands 2 Thread AKA Here's My Wallet, Randy!

Haha, BL2 will just mean I get to work even harder to make sure I can afford time to play. Who knew the game would be beneficial for your work ethic?
