LOVE Logitech's speakers! I got the 6.1 setup from a few years ago and they rock my house! My brother picked up the 5.1 THX set and they sound better than our home theatre!! I am biased though, I've yet not to love a Logitech product, be it speakers, mice, keyboards, etc.... ;)

Acer/Gateway and similar computers of that mainstream sort have gotten my attention, and I will never recommend their computers to anyone. They basically exist for the person who knows nothing about computers, a sort of beginner's system that's all flash (if at all) and not much substance...

DFI over MSI any day of the week ;) good choice, good choice. Does anyone have an opinion about Abit and/or ASUS boards? I've primarily used ABit, and would recommend them to anyone, but I've heard ASUS are pretty reliable as well... any thoughts?

It could be the disc itself as well. I've had a few cd-rw just stop re-writing on me after around 10+ re-writes... I blame it on the mass-production of them, gotta have a few bad ones in a batch :rolleyes:

Yep, been there, done that. Sometimes the seemingly most complex of problems can have the most simple of solutions... :P at least it'll give you a laugh later down the road :)

HOLY CRAP that's hot! :eek: It must be the max temp, else your card would be fried by now for sure! my card usually sits around 35-45 degrees celcius (the old 8500 LE needs to be put to rest :P)

My wife works with big screen TV's and whatnot, and they use Monster Screen Clean http://www.monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=2350 It's fairly expensive, but she swears by it. I've never tried it myself, but I trust her opinion.

So many different video cards, it boggles the mind if you don't keep track :eek: I'm currently looking at a 6800GS myself, great bang for the buck ;)
