Another great review! That's a shame they discontinued the drive though. 40GB is great for most people, but gamers might want to upgrade to 80GB, since many PC games nowadays take between 8-12GB per install.

Terrific review Rob. You raised a very good point about its price point (being very similar to 5750's). I can understand the pricing considering that the 5670 lags just behing the GT250 in most all games. I guess with the limited supply we can expect these to sell around $110 or so.

The graphs are a little misleading (the x-axis starts at 80/75 instead of 0). But all in all, very excited. While the performance boost is a little lower than expected (though still the best in its class), the lower power consumption is where this card will shine. Can't wait to see some data on...

Great review Rob! 5770's in crossfire are legit alternatives to 5870! The major downside I see (aside from Crysis) is the additional power requirements, but also that it won't future proof you like two 5870's will. Which isn't too bad at all!
