CENT-OS is based off of redhat and is geared towards the enterprise user. It's the best choice for a free enterprise class linux.

Only works on American made products. Slap it to fix it is the standard way to fix any American products. They always do it that way in the movies, so it must work :wink:

2 GB DIMMS might not run in dual channel mode. Motherboards normally have a limit to the size of DIMMS for dual channel mode.

Mouse lag can also be caused by two many USB devices competing for access to the USB port at the same time.

Why are you thinking of using a laptop as your main computer? If you play a lot of games, you won't be able to stick a high-end graphics card in a laptop like you can with a desktop PC.

I am more interested in more special effects and higher quality graphcis. Frame rate is usually already high enough for most games. Besides the human eyes can not distinguish a difference between high frame rates.

My opinion is that onboard audio is fine for everything you possibly need sound for, with one exception, that exception is games. Therefore if you want to listen to cd music, or watch a video, or anything else then onboard audio is fine. But for games, you need the decreased resources and...

I went and read that page. They provide links to a tutorial that shows you how to remove it. Did you follow the instructions in the tutorial and did you successfully remove it?

My opinion is that IE is the best browser. It does take a little technical know-how to set it up correctly, but it can be run 100% safely. I use open in another window to open as many windows as I want, and just alt-tab between them. I don't need or miss any of the features in browsers like...
