Where GPS has flaws...

Reportedly, the driver of a charter bus carrying a high school girls' softball team decided to casually follow the soothing turn-by-turn directions that were being emitted from the nearby GPS unit rather than actually noticing the enormous clearance sign on the overpass ahead.

I hate to say it, but I can see how something like this could happen, but you'd imagine it would not happen when you are carrying a bus-load of students. The hilarious thing, though, is the fact that trucks regularly run into that tunnel every few weeks, GPS tracking aside.

I can't begin to tell you how many drivers we have ran their trailers into low clearance bridges. It happens all the time. While this driver is still responsible for NOT PAYING ATTENTION WITH A BUS FULL OF CHILDREN, ahem... it would still be easy to trust the directions given to you by the all knowing computer.

Silly driver.

I use GPS everyday at work
With MS streets and trips you can even save your trail to look at, at the end of the day.
But still idiots seems to do something that makes you question the evolution trend.
And now we are still naked, but at a computer.
