Here's a bit of a haunting tale. In 1989, Carlos de Luna was killed by lethal injection for the killing of Wanda Lopez. Today, after five years of research into the case, a group of 12 students led by a professor have discovered that the wrong man died. Not surprisingly, the execution occurred as the direct result of total negligence on behalf of the police.
