What a way to kick off the football season!

Hmm. What a start to the new season, to say the least. The Colts get brutally murdered, Brady could be out for the season and Favre looked like he wanted to cry during post-game interviews. This season is going to be damn interesting.

The Colts will likely comeback next week, but without Brady, the Patriots are going to have a fun time against the Jets next weekend. As for Favre, someone needs to hand him a tissue. The shift to the Jets noticeably affected him on field today.

What are your thoughts so far?

I didn't watch much on Sunday, so I only have 3 thoughts
1) Cleveland spent so much on DT but they were getting pushed 5 yards backwards every play. Def. missed Williams - he probably got all them sacks from having a great support cast around him (namely KGB and Kampman)
2) The Lions have decided to tank before giving false hope (again) :D
3) Everyone outside of WI is talking about Rodgers but we have big problems with our big guys. OL is questionable without Wells and (supposedly) inconsistent guard play. DL isn't as deep as the beginning of last year either

Oh, and since you didn't say which level of football I'll throw in this nice TD throw from friday night (watch out for that QB [assuming he plays football not basketball in college] I've seen him since he was a freshmen...)

:D

Hah, I'll have to look later. For whatever reason, that site doesn't support Linux. The ad (surprise surprise) shows just fine, but once it's finished, "You need Windows and Firefox with the Windows Media Player plugin". Good stuff.

As for which level of football, I am just basically getting into the NFL, so the lower leagues really don't interest me that much at this point. I've been into English football (soccer) for a while, but I'm really late to jump onto the NFL bandwagon.

The game last night with GB was fantastic though. Rodgers is really doing his best to replace Favre, and that touchdown in the 2nd quarter was just brilliant. He's definitely a QB to watch.
