I was looking around at the different video players for Android, and stumbled on Archos'. But then I looked at the reviews and there was something odd I found about the first three reviewers...

Apparently you need to be a Richard to use it.

It just seems fishy to me. Two Ricks talking about the same Synology NAS use, and then another Rick for good measure. All I can say is, suuuuuuuuuuure.
