Vista SP1 upgraded the defragger...

Passing by an article at the How-To Geek informed me that the defragger under Vista has been upgraded in SP1... by adding a scheduler. So there you have it... something that should have been there all along.

I do wish the defragger in Windows was worth a damn, though. It's SO slow and the lack of a map to let you know it's actually doing something is frustrating.

BUT, for those who refuse to download even a free defragger tool, set up a schedule and keep that computer running smooth!

now rob... why should we expect a quaint company like Microsoft to include standards like that at launch? They prob had to ship the OS so they could pay for further development.

It isn't like they just have money laying around.
