Thierry Henry = Epic

In 2007, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry left for Barcelona, and it sucked. Never did I imagine that he'd end up making a return to Arsenal years later, and when I heard that he might be playing the game today, I had to go sign up for some football site (Setanta) to make sure I could stream the game reliably (no cable). Well, the game didn't disappoint, at least not from the perspective that Henry got to play.

He was brought on at about the 70 minute mark and no more than ten minutes later slotted home the only goal of the entire game. My neighbors must have thought I was dying because of all the hooping and hollaring I was doing. By myself.

Thierry, I still don't forgive the WC 2010 handball, but you are still very epic.

The goal sure wasn't his best, but here it is:

EPL was awesome during those 2003 to 2008 days!! The Arsenal vs Man. Utd rivalry was what really made it awesome! And both sides had amazing players too!

Good to see Henry comeback! Maybe now Beckham will come back to Man. Utd! lol! :D

That'd be amazing, but I don't think it'll happen. I think he's already decided that he will retire in the MLS, which to me seems a little nuts. He's a world-class player yet is content retiring in a league that no one outside of the US gives a damn about.

Of course, the mega dollar signs here might have something to do with it also.

As for Henry, he hinted before about coming back to Arsenal at some point, but I am not sure it'll happen there either. It's be amazing though :D So tempted to order in a 2011-2012 home shirt with his name on the back of it. I never did have a shirt with him on it (I have Lehmann and Fabregas shirts).

Beckham did say he wanted to return but it aint gonna happen as long as Ferguson is in charge!

The level of patheticness of the current Man. Utd team is so colossal, that i'd also go for an Henry shirt! He is the only one who reminds of the good old days! Even though he was a rival, lol, but he was awesome!

Manchester United = The worlds richest team, according to Forbes, with the world's cheapest and looser-est players!!!

Can u believe they lost to Basel FC!!! Damn I am soo frustrated with Alex Ferguson!

'U either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain!'
^ This fits for Sir Alex Ferguson!!

Even if Beckham didn't return to Man U, I'd like to see him return to English football in general. As long as it's not Man C. Oh please no... never Man C.

All things considered, Man U are still doing quite well... I mean the second in the table isn't unimpressive with so much more of the season to go. What burns about it is that their arch-rivals are ahead of them. If I were a Man U fan I think I'd feel the same ire against maybe not just Fergie but all of Man U's management.

Hey, don't complain to me. Man U kicked our asses earlier this season (8-2, remember?), so I don't feel too bad for them with a loss like that :D
