Damn, wish I had started at that age. Lacked the foresight, I guess.

A lot of that just has to do with the parents, I'm sure. If the parents wanted the kid to be a musician, then they probably started her off really early. I'd find it kind of unlikely if at five-years-old she suddenly decided she wanted to play the guitar. Of course, I didn't expect an eight-year-old to play like that either...
