During last night's football game (GO COLTS!), I kept seeing a commercial from some cable provider that offered a service where TV could be streamed to your mobile device, like a phone or iPad. The example in the commercial showed people sitting in a diner watching a football game on their respective devices.
Now, if I wanted to watch a football match that badly, you can be sure I'd be at home watching it, not hanging out in a freaking diner, but I am still curious... has anyone used such a service? I am just wondering how reliable it is, or how good the performance is. I don't do much mobile work at all, but something tells me the process and performance wouldn't be ideal. I've watched enough streaming video on my desktop to know what the performance can be like, so I'm not sure what it'd be like on a mobile device... on wireless.
