Those are some ridiculous differences. Do you see the -same- kind of results if you don't run both of them at the same time?

I'd run them again one at a time, with reboots in between. I know in the S939 days, running more than one temperature-reading application at the same time could skew the results.

Shouldn't make a difference, I've run Speedfan, Coretemp, RealTemp, Gbyte's EasyTune5 Pro monitor, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, and Memset at once just to see if any would crash or give strange results. :D

The guy behind RealTemp explained that the delta between programs like Coretemp and Realtemp would actually grow in certain cases, and chilled CPUs is one such case.

18c is about 64 degrees, which makes sense for a 45nm chip with the CoolIT Freezone. :)

Yes, I tried that also, even before I ran both. Same temps came up.
( wrote them down )
Now...that IS on the 64 bit Vista machine,,,, I'll run on the 32 bit machine for results....could be the factor

Ran it again on this one...cooler is 9700LED Zalman
