Spring Cleaning

It's that time.
Time to get rid of the PIII mobo, the non DDR pc2700 Ram.
Those little screws that they pack into new products and you're wondering if they were suppose to ALL be used.
The Skelletal case, stripped of their past glory and envy.
Old video cards, missing fans because you thought you might use it on that new Northbridge.
That old power supply that gave out months ago, ( but all those wires )
Maybe Dr. Frankenstien could piece together those old optical drives that used PATA connections.
But you're thinking, I saw a guide to make a pen laser that can light matches 8 feet away and pop balloons....nah...lets dump em.
And All those keyboards in the corner, cola stains that remind you to keep drinks away from the computer keys.
And all those boxes that were shipped, or purchaed from a nearby store...
Nooooo, we're not going to keep all the styrofoam peanuts anymore.
And let's not forget that 20" CRT monitor that cost 500.00just three years ago, hell, I can't give that away at a yard sale......much less the excersise equipment I purchased to get rid of the extra pound sitting at the puter for hours playing online. ( my butt is still asleep from gamimg all night )

The trash man is going to love this...piles of stuff glistening in the morning sun, layden with fresh dew.

Well, maybe I can keep a few things, I'm such a pack rat :p

That sounds so much like me, it's scary. I think I'm going to throw out a few broken things, just to ease my conscience... I did at least throw out my broken printer after I couldn't fix it, though. :D

Haha, I am somewhat of a pack rat as well, but I smartened up a bit over the past year. There are some things I simply will not throw away that are rather needless (such as game console boxes), but for the most part, if I don't need it and it's of no use to anyone, it goes in the trash.

Ah yes....Boxes
I still ahve the color printed Commodor64 boxes that the big floppy drive came in.
One thing did come in handy, though
When I shipped the computer to little bro.
I had the boxes that they had come in......packing and all.
