SilverStone has been producing amazing cases for a while, but for some, their best offerings are pricey. That's where the Kublai series comes into play. Built on the essence of the higher-end models, they attempt to pack quite a punch with their Kublai, all at an affordable price. Have they succeeded?

Nice motherboard. :)

That SATA port issue sucks. Judging from the pics you might be able to dremel off the rear edge of the HDD cage and still be able to use the hot-swap device on the top drive, but I really like my 90-degree SATA ports.

I really like the HDD cage design though, especially the wireless fan. I think Silverstone might be able to sell those ideas in a stand-alone HDD cage that could be mounted in any case. It'd be nice if they could combine the hot-swap plug idea with the wireless power connection idea to create an HDD cage with 4 (or 5) hot swap plugs with all the cables coming out from one tidy, well hidden location.

You have a point there but an average end user should never have to modify their hardware to accommodate a blatant design flaw of the chassis. As I said in the review, it might be that Silverstone simply was playing the odds that the rotated SATA ports were on such an insignificantly small number of PCs that it wouldn't affect their overall sales of this case... I mean, it is a solid case but anyone with a mobo that has rotated SATA ports should beware.

Move it?

I'm pretty sure you could just move the HDD cage up away from the sata headers
