I'm about to upgrade my current 350w PSU and since I may be getting a quad core processor in the future, I need to know if it needs a certain watt output. Im looking at a modular kingwin mach 1 600w PSU right now. Will this be enough? ty

PS Im only running one GPU so I dont need SLI or Crossfire

That should prove well enough. As far as I remember, Intels Quad Core will require around 130W, so after you add in your other hardware, you are still not anywhere close to 600W.

Sounds like a good choice to me.

The Mach1 is reputed to do a bit of crossloading meaning that the rails go out of spec if there's more load on the 12V than on the 5V and 3.3V.

You'd be better off looking at the Sunbeam Nuuo or if you don't need modular cables the Enhance ENP-5150GH which is a super stable 80%+ efficient PSU.
