It's easy to compare Q.U.B.E. to Portal at a quick glance, but in reality it's a much different game. The main focus is on puzzle-solving, but the puzzles here are solved by manipulating blocks in order to achieve some objective to open the door at the end. And in terms of sheer difficulty, Q.U.B.E. takes the cake.

Read through Jamie's look at Q.U.B.E. and then discuss it here!

I had a lot of hope that this game would be epic... but it falls short. It falls short to the point where I wouldn't even purchase it for $5. The challenges just look rather bland and boring, and after experiencing a game like Portal 2 (which to be fair costs 4x as much), it's hard to get excited over a game as lifeless as this.

Portal 2 wasn't -just- about the puzzles. It was about the environments, the characters and the spot-on gameplay. QUBE has none of these things.

That said, I do hope to maybe see a sequel that amps things up.
