PlayStation Network Remains Down; Where Are We At?

Sony's PlayStation Network has now been down for nearly two weeks, and it's been well over a week since we all discovered that customer information was stolen en masse. At the time of this post, PSN is still not up, even though Sony has been "working around the clock" to make it happen. So where are we at with all of this? It's been a busy time for Sony, that's for sure, and a dull one for PlayStation gamers.

It's amazing how little coverage this is getting in the main media, despite being larger than most of the data theft cases that preceded it which they covered for days.

I didn't realize it but everyone that pays for time limited content (including MMORPGS) and Sony services is more than just inconvenienced, they're out their money they paid for the subscriptions ontop of everything else. Sony made it sound like they were going to address them too, but so far I've not anything further on that.

Saw this in the Ars Technica article, what a joke: http://news.cnet.com/8301-31021_3-20060227-260.html Hopefully since the feds are involved already they'll nab a few of the children, if nothing else. One can only hope. :D
