For those who have not been in tune with this story, Harry McCracken wrote a less than ideal story about Apple, which the CEO promptly discarded. Why? Apple advertises with them. Sticking to editorial integrity, Harry resigned at PC World.

The update now is that the CEO has been demoted and Harry re-instated as Editor in Chief.

If only more stories would end like this. See, it pays to not take crap from your boss.

I repeat what Paul Thurrot had said regarding this story, "Congrats Harry!"
Harry stood up for his principles and won! Principles do matter after all!

It's one of those touchy feel good stories. One that wont end up in a movie.

Harry called shenanigans on PC World and stuck to his guns. It eventually came full circle and he was rewarded. Well done.
