This comes almost as no surprise, given that the Nintendo Wii promotes real activity during gameplay, but now it's official, as the American Health Association has awarded Nintendo with the stamp of approval. Should the company choose, it could use this stamp on its retail Wii boxes and possibly other places.

Nintendo did strike a deal with the AHA, so that might have helped, but I reckon that the stamp is warranted. The Wii has helped a lot of inactive people get active again, so Nintendo deserves props for that.
