New GPU ...Rigth decision?

Hi all,

I just have ordered a new GPU and I´m not sure if is a big mistake or not.

Actually I have 2 x Ati Radeon 4870 512 Mb in CF configuration and my results in Heaven DX11 Benchmark 2.5 are:

The new GPU is:
EAH6970 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 ASUS HD 6970

Are this ASUS HD 6970 more powefull that my previous CF?

Thanks in advanced

Tech Junkie
why are Asus GPUs always more expensive?!? do they offer better performance and reliability?!?

Tech Monkey
Well, that one is a DCUII model so its a non reference with much better cooling and likely better OC room due to better parts used on it. Hence the extra costs for it.

Thnks all!!

In Spain I get it for 322 € (in my home), the HD6970 2Gb standard cost more or less 300 €. I consider a plus of 22€ for this better cooling is ok.

Waiting for that, as soon as fit in my PC i´ll post the Unigine results.
