Need to Warm Up? How About a USB Hand-Warmer?

Whether you like it or not, the winter season is right around the corner. Depending on where you live, it may have very-well already begun for you, and if that's the case, then I'm glad I don't live anywhere near you. I'm not afraid of the cold, but like how I feel about onions, I'd rather not have to deal with it. I'm the kind of person who'd rather be too hot than too cold, and I'm sure many are with me.

Even if you love the cold, though, there must be times when you can't help but say, "Geez, it's cold." In those situations, it may feel like you'd do anything to warm up, whether it be running around in circles, closing your eyes and pretending your in a sauna, or turning on your old IntelNetburst computer... but what about a hand-warmer? Clever idea, but just how convenient could one be?

Oh my... this is one for my "Technology looking for a home" list...

If it's so cold you need a hand warmer, you can be sure your computer is also too cold to operate properly.

Want to warm your hands? Go inside.
Your computer will thank you.

lol...I dunno, it gets cold enough in my office that a hand warmer could be useful. But I have poorer circulation, too. That being said, this just seemed kinda dumb to me.. :)

Yeah, my office too is right by the walls, and if the heat doesn't go on, it gets fairly cool. I'd love to get this but my work computer is from 2001 and no USB2.0...

If the idea behind this thing isn't too clear... it's not entirely designed to be used indoors, but rather it's designed to be charged up while you are using your computer, and then brought with you when you go out. So if you're walking in a snowstorm and couldn't get much more cold, you'd haul this thing out to warm your hands up.

That at least sounds a bit more useful. But I'd have to question how long it would stay warm unless it runs an internal battery to store a small charge?
