Just for kicks I downloaded the game and played both levels.
I'll post an image but it doesn't do the game justice
I'm using a 8600 GT ( very low end DX 10 card ) but not a bad card for under 200.00
This image was taken from a 42 inch plasma with the system set up for HD.

If you enlarge the image you can see the CPU running at only 100*F under a game load
