Upgraded the firmware on the router
And speeds are great.
I see this a lot and just never bothered upgrading the firmware.
before the upgrade it showed jan of 2003......thats a long time ago
So, if anyone is having router issues, this is the key

Why sure, I was not sleeping well either....LOL

Anyway...... I see lot of problems with internet speed with most people and it might save me a service call and the customer a service charge for telling them it's their equipment .

It's always good to at least read the release notes on your hardware when an updated firmware comes out. Sometimes it fixes known issues and sometimes it's trivial upgrades. In your case, clearly it was something that was holding back performance! Good going. Nothing like something for free
