Installing two different RAM

Would it be possible to install:

Those modules are about as similar as can be. As long as you manually set the main timings and correct voltage it should be good to go. Just be sure to use the timings from the slower kit. I don't recommend setting them tighter until you are sure everything is functioning normally with all 12GB installed.

Let us know if you do run into any issues, 12GB is a hefty amount of RAM and modules for a Core i7 and a few do need some extra tweaking for it.
