Imaging Hosting Services (A Real Question This Time!)

Hi, all.

I'm wondering, what's a good photo hosting web site that I can use? I know there's the good ol' Bucket, but I hate getting PartyPoker.com pop-up windows whenever I close other windows. (Internet ad companies are downright evil.)

Addendum -- brain fart when typing in the thread title -- please forgive.

I have always used Imageshack.us/

Never had a problem with them in the past.

Trying it out...

Pictured is a three-piece speaker system I built for my sister's birthday. Typically, the speakers in my avatar occupy those positions. The bass module uses a single dual voice coil (DVC) 4" woofer in a double-ended transmission line similar to what Bose uses in their Acoustic Wave music system. They are pictured in my dorm room (I'm a senior at Purdue) undergoing testing.

I ran across a site called www.xs.to and really like it. Accounts limited to: 2mb per file, 1mb for a gif, and 500 files per user. I've found it to be a lot simpler than photobucket, and a list of codes per file for a slew of uses.

You can check out my album listed as 'My Pics' in the sig.

Another major concern of mine is the number of sneaky advertisements that pop up. It turns out that ImageShack was the site I was thinking of when I remarked about the PartyPoker.com popups. The new version of Firefox seems to be a bit more effective against that particular ad, but I've seen some other pop-ups on other web sites. I much prefer banner ads to pop-ups, though I guess it is the code in the pop-ups that lets advertisers install adware to your machine. Online advertising companies have led me to a greater belief in an objective concept of evil.
