Who do you run to when you need a new chassis? Antec? Thermaltake? SilverStone? Today, we are adding a new company to our personal list: Hiper. If their Anubis mid-tower had to be summed up in a single word, it would be "Quality". Not too bad for their first showing!

You can read Greg's full review here and discuss it here.

Seeing that monster in the flesh, I have to say that I'm really impressed with it. Now, if HiPer would put as much effort into their PSU's I'd really be impressed.

I was wondering if you can modify the top of the case to install a Koolance EHX – 1000 Internal Radiator? I really like the look of the case but I already have my cooling.

Merlin

The Tech Wizard
7.2" x 3.2" x 16.3" (18.2cm x 8cm x 41.4cm) radiator
Case is 20.6" 8.0" x 18.7"
So you would be covering the on off buttons and the connections

Plus the top of the case is extruded aluminum (heat sink style) so you'd have a lot of fun cutting it down to fit the Koolance thing up there. Me I'd just get a good double 120mm fan radiator and a Swiftech radbox and hang the rad from the rear of the case.

I tell you what though, that would be a VERY nice look if you could mill out the top fins to fit a rad... even a single 120mm radiator would look nice sitting flush with the fins. Although, it would still sit up thanks to the fan so scratch that idea.

Nah, you'd sandwich the top in between the rad and the fan. The rad up top and the fan underneath the top inside the case. It would be fine that way but the top might need to be re-anodized.

I am pretty sure that there would be significant clearance issues with the power supply as the fan is situated towards the rear of the case.

You lose the top 5.25" bay, use a single 120 rad (the PA160 is about as effective as a dual 120 rad) and mount it between the buttons and the PSU.
