I thought it would be a good idea to start a free games thread. If it gets requested, I'll sticky it.
To start off:
Action/Adventure:
Grand Theft Auto - The original, top-down version of the GTA series.
Grand Theft Auto 2 Sequal to the first GTA game.
GunZ The Duel - A MMO third-person shooter.
Wild Metal - A "3D strategic vehicular combat game" from Rockstar.
Stair Dismout - A game where you push a stick-figure model down a flight of stairs.
Truck Dismount - You get points for flinging people from trucks. Nuff' said.
FPS:
America's Amry - A free multiplayer game created by the U.S. military.
Fear Combat - The multiplayer portion of the popular first person shooter of 2005.
Tremulous - A mod based off of Quake 3 with Humans and Aliens, and RPG level elements.
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - A free, popular first-person shooter from the Wolfenstein series.
War Rock - A Korean game based off of Battlefield 2.
Fighter:
Little Fighter 2 - A "cute" fighting game.
Platformer:
Super Mario XP - A cross between Mario and Castlevania.

The Elder Scrolls: Arena - Classic Bethesda RPG.

Mono - A game inspired by Geometry Wars.
