This is kind of interesting. Researchers have found that when you drink beer out of a curved glass, chances are you'll end up drinking more because of the illusion it creates (that you aren't drinking as much as you actually are). As such, you end up not pacing yourself like you would with a regular glass.

This really wouldn't surprise me. I find that when I have beer in a glass at all I end up drinking it way faster than if it was in a bottle as well.
