SONY Aibo is apparently realy dead, as rumors went over the internet about a newer version retailing for 1,500.00 USD
But SONY finally came out and said they would not revive Aibo.
For those that purchased their robo dog for around 2.5 grand, they expected more from SONY.
SONY did say they had something else in the works...no clue as to yet what it is.
We'll rely on rumors till the final word of something new..

I saw this robo dog a few years ago and wanted one, but the price was just too much. But actually the price of real dogs could surpass 15 hundred if you think about it.
I know I would get a newer version for the rumor price.

I've talked to someone before who owned one of the original ones and she loved it. She said once it died, she actually cried... so it goes to show how emotional you can really get with a "toy".

You are right though... much cheaper than a real canine, haha.
