Thanks both to its stellar go-your-own-way gameplay and immersive cyberpunk world, the original Deus Ex is regarded as one of the best PC games of all time. Following up to such a cult classic isn't easy, but with Human Revolution, Eidos Montreal has proven that it didn't want to disappoint DX's hardcore fans at any cost.

Read through Brett's exhaustive look at Deus Ex: Human Revolution and discuss it here!

You are so right, Brett! Nothing like truly evaluating a game and letting it sink into us, before writing a review. There's so much more that can be said at that moment. And this goes for about anything; software and hardware. How many reviews do we know... say of a keyboard or a mouse... that let us know how good it still is after a few months of intensive use? Certainly I cannot expect this often. There's often very real constraints to media reviewing that aren't simply compatible with this idea. Vendors who are the ones supplying the material for review don't like one bit if it only comes after a few months, for instance. Or the public eagerness for timely reviews. But whenever possible, gosh, it should be done!

Great review, as usual. Thanks :)
I already knew your review was on the works and I've been planning to followup with a user review that I should be posting shortly. I'm focusing it entirely on the technical elements of the game. So it came as a nice surprise that I'm not going to step on already covered ground.
