Deus Ex: Human Revolution Released!

In the summer of 2000, Ion Storm released what became an instant cult classic and its most successful title during its tenure, Deus Ex. On the surface, the game looked like the usual futuristic action game, but for fans, there's a lot more to it than that. At its heart, it's an RPG in the truest sense of the word, allowing the player the opportunity to build their character to their liking, which made sure that no two playthroughs were exactly alike.

>> Are any of you guys going to pick it up right away? Wait for a sale? Have no interest? Inquiring minds want to know!

Hugely interested. But will have to wait a few months.

I was very happy to see the glowing reviews as they were becoming available. It's one of the games I wished to become good. I understand there's a bit of a criticism towards the voice acting. Fortunately they are centered around the main character exaggerated bass voice and I don't expect him to talk much. In any case I will pick it as soon as possible. Good grief, hard to believe that we are finally going to play Deus Ex again! And a great one at that, that follows on the footsteps of the cult classic.

Just when I had started going legitimate with games I preordered Dragon Age 2 and Crysis 2 and we all know how these 2 games turned out! I am Never 'going to pick it up right away' or preorder! :(

I'll wait for the reviews! Demos dont always do justice! :D

Bah :-(

There's no such thing as a perfect game I guess, but meh, that doesn't sound like a big deal to me. The first game didn't have the most stellar voice acting either, but it worked.

LOL! Yes, of all the games to pre-order, those two were a little underwhelming ;-) You couldn't go wrong with Deus Ex, however.

Dying to play, but work must be done...

I had the same thing happen! Though this one I did want to preorder, along with BF3 and SWTOR. I just wont preorder another Dragon Age game or game specifically from Crytek, Crysis 2 was worse then DA2 on so many levels.

I will be getting this next Thursday, NO SPOILERS ROB!
