Dead, Nadda.......??

I thought this was going to be simple.....

I went from one case to another...( a build for my little bro )
Everything was fine, I took out a lot of programs that he wouldn't need.
I shut it down and transfered everything to the new case....and now nothing.
Nothing shorted as far as I know...just no power.
I'm wondering ( never did it as yet ) if I can check the power supply by shorting two of the power cable pins to the MoBo connector.
Just to see where the problem is.

Any Help?

Not sure what motherboard this is, but are all power connections in place? Some motherboards have a spare 4-Pin connector on the board that needs to be plugged in prior to it functioning. If everything is in place, then it could be a bad motherboard.

I'll take everything back out tonight and test not in the case. See if it's some grounding issue.
The board is a MK8 939 ( mach Speed ) the only board I have seen with an AGP and a PCIe slot for display.

After building 5 machines, this is the first that didnt even post at start up.

You're lucky, my build had a DOA PSU and HD.

I'm builiding one for my father and it won't boot all...probably the mobo seeing I swapped the PSU for my 'backup' and it wouldn't fire..
