Crossfire vs Nvidia SLI

Well, I was wanting to get an X38 board, but they are all for ATI Crossfire.
I have always gone Nvidia SLI.
But the question is, can you use an Nvidia GPU with a crossfire optimized mobo?

Yes and no.

I say yes because I was able to get SLI working on the DFI Infinity 775 that we looked at last year but that was with hacked drivers. I wouldn't get a,motherboard, especially one of that price point, under the assumptions that there will be drivers available for you to use.

As sad as it is, your going to have to get a 680i board if you want a top level chipset that supports SLI.

I'd wait another month if you are planning to build a new machine. NVIDIA will be releasing their latest chipsets soon, so holding off might be a good idea.

That sounds good......... I have to do some airbrushing on the case.
The Crysis case and my old pump gave out, so I'll pick up another
