Counter-Strike: Source Soon to See Big Update

Among all game developers, Valve is special in many different ways. One of the most noteworthy is the fact that the company readily supports its current games in order to prolong their lives, most often for free. Take Team Fortress 2, for example, and Left 4 Dead, or even the older Day of Defeat: Source (which saw multiple large updates in its prime). But of all the Valve titles that are still very popular today, one has sat in the virtual corner and been neglected to see updates for years.

Half-Life 2 Deathmatch also hasn't seen an update in years, and that's most of the reason why it's dying out. The clan I'm involved in (The Killing Committee) used to be solely a HL2DM clan, then branched out to Call of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, and now Battlefield: Bad Company 2. We have since then dropped our Left 4 Dead and COD 4 servers. We had to move to BC2 or our clan would have died out eventually. I myself don't have CS:S, but I'm gonna get it soon.
