Computer Falling Apart?

Do you ever get the feeling your computer is starting to feel like your '59 Corvette Stingray you wish you had in your garage. 6 months ago both my cd drives broke down, and just recently my sound card stopped working. What's next? Monitor? Any suggestions?

IMHE shit just breaks down after awhile. If its under warrantee send the hoe back. In our mass production society where they turn out thousands of the same things over and over again, small "oopses" in output do occur.

Oh and CRTs can be fixed sometimes if your monitor does go.

Oh and i was just joking about the duct tape on the vette. Mine looks good cause i keep it that way :-D

Time will only teel when I will just buy a brand new PC, but the way PC's are priced today I dont have much selection.

As for the Warrenty, no can do, Its a DELL!!

Just check out some of the sigs. Almost all of us build our own. Compaq sells some decent pc with acceptable speed for around $3-400. Just keep your eyes open when you visit the Wally World (Wal-Mart). They've got whole systems for 500, but they're not top performers.
