I just found out that Brink is Free To Play this weekend on Steam, it will be playable until Sunday evening, unfortunately it doesn't say at what time. Just load up Steam and it will be in your list saying "Brink - 1 Day left" and away you go. Have fun gents (c:

Kinda glad they did this since i didn't really know if i ever wanted to buy it. Only played it a minute. Good impressions but probably not my kinda shooter.

It's definitely made for online play. The single player was alright but super boring when trying to go through again.

I tried the online play I was in a hurry and actually was surprised when i ended up with other real players lol.

I was on the fence about this game as well, but when I told Rob about this he said he has major problems with connecting to other people. I had not heard about that before but when I tried to play it last night I found that out all to well, any game you try to host even being properly port forwarded says "Server not responding" msg and the only ones available to connect to are the official servers. Those problems made that decision for me, whether or not I was going to buy this game or not and now I'm not going to.
