Brandy sucks...

Yeah, just wanted post a warning to anyone contemplating drinking Brandy. Ever.

DON'T.

Buuuut, when in Rome....actually it should be: "When you have nothing else to drink..."

That's really all I had to say. Think of it as a public service announcement.

Straight Brandy is something of a dessert. And, *yes*, it is an acquired taste. You may find that you have been exposed to some craptacular brandy.... in which case, wait a few years, loose the experience, then try it again.

Brandy/Cognac types of liquors are something to be savored... not "drunk".

Even better, a great cigar with the mouth end dipped in the chosen beverage makes for a greeat evening... if you are into premium cig smoking...

I am not a fan. But then again, I was drinking Christain Brother's and that sir, is cheap brandy. I am able to savour wine and at least know what to look for in wines but congnac and brandy, I am lost. Regardless, the disired effect was found so what can I complain about...

I don't like many hard liquors, but been enjoying Tequila a little bit lately... it actually mixes well. Vodka is a sure-fire winner as well.
