Ahh, thanks for the link. That's right on the "money" then... I found ATI to be exactly $20 less-expensive on average. That doesn't look too good for NVIDIA, though. Arguably, they still have some nicer benefits on their card, but the thing went up $50 in the span of two weeks.

I agree... one of the biggest reasons Windows is still the true dominator is because of DirectX. They're not "stupid" enough to open it up, because you'd see an almost instant drop of Windows usage. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard "I only use Windows when I need to game"...
