    Few PSP questions

Just get the damned PSP Rob. We will need something that I can play on the plane to CES! Seriously. If you think I am talking to your ass the entire way there, you're sorely mistaken. Actually, another neat feature of the PSP is the WiFi. On my home wireless network, I had no problems at...

Your PC -should- set them by default but if they are somehow worse than that, which I dont think is possible, then you can always set them to what you want them to be. Should you want to tighten those timing up more, Rob can help you out.

I second the canned air idea. It's a PC users best friend. Well, a close second behind internet porn.

    Few PSP questions

I do not own a PSP but I have a friend with one. He likes his Wii better but loves the PSP all the same. I have played with it and it really is enjoyable. I haven't worked with it enough to get a strong feel for the battery life but he hasnt complained about his once.

Yeah, I am also not a huge fan of hockey but charity work is very rewarding. Unless it's court ordered of course.

    Ratpadz XT

It's that cutaway at the bottom that makes it resemble the func. It certainly looks like a killer pad and I like the all black look with the rounded edges. Well done.

applying thermal paste is very easy. There are a few that I would recommend. Everyone uses Arctic Silver 5 but I prefer Arctic Silver Ceramique. It costs a lot less than the Silver 5 but the only differance between the two might be a degree, if that. You could also get the Zalman ZM-STG1...

It depends on which cooler you get. I got an opteron server style cooler with my 4600+. It has heatpipes running through it and cools well. If you got the old style, get a new one. However, with AMD, the stock coolers are more than adequate. Unless you just want to spend 25-40 more dollars...

HD RPMs...is there a big difference?

I am with Rob on this one. There is a differance but to me, I just dont worry about it to much. If you have an extra 60 bucks burning a hole in your pocket, then by all means get it, but when I price out notebooks, I never consider upgrading the HDD. Storage first, speed second for me.

Brilliant idea for the feet of the case. The green glow is a great touch as well. Still looking forward to the end result. It's almost there. Good to hear about the ankle recovery too!

I am working with the Business install now but will install the Ultimate version tonight. So far, I dont see myself abandoning XP at the moment. I love XP Pro so much so Vista is going to have to impress me quite a bit. We are microsoft partners at my day job so thats where I got my copy. I...

    Notebook storage :-\

Not having a notebook now for over a year, I haven't really been too concerned with the state of laptop storage. My last notebook had an 80GB hard drive it in and for what I needed it for, it was fine. I don't need a desktop replacement. All I truly want a notebook for is remote emailing, a...
